CONCLUDING SENTENCE: So there are the reason
and some explanation on why I love music so much and can make my self a bit
better when hearing music.
When I feel a bit stress, music is my
way to go to relax my self. My favorite music instrument is Guitar, well on a
guitar it self, it divides into 3 category. The first is Classical guitar (also known as the nylon-string guitar or Spanish
guitar) is a member of the guitar family used in classical music. An acoustic wooden string instrument
with strings made of gut or nylon. The second is Accoustic
guitar, acoustic guitar (steel string) is a modern
form of guitar that
descends from the nylon-strung classical guitar, but is strung with steel strings for
a brighter, louder sound. Like the classical guitar, it is often referred to
simply as an acoustic guitar. The third is Electric Guitar, this is a type of
guitar that uses several pickups to change the sound or vibration of a guitar
string into an electric current that will be amplified again using a set of
amplifiers and loud speakers. The sound of an electric guitar is generated from
the vibrations of the guitar strings that hit the coil on the body of the
guitar, commonly called "pick up". Sometimes the signal coming out of
the pickup is changed electronically with the guitar effect as a reverb or
distortion. Based on those three guitar types, my personal preference is the acoustic
guitar because the sound of it is more natural and I can play it acoustically without
have to plug it to an amplifier.
Then I have my favorite music genre which is Jazz. Why I love jazz so much
here are the reasons. The first is the melody, Since jazz music is mostly
improvised, melody is one of the most
interesting elements for a jazz musician and listener. In the 40's a jazz style
called Bebop provided the blueprint to all the jazz styles that came after.
Before Bebop, the improvisation in jazz was limited to just a few solos,
similar to rock music today. With Bebop, improvisation became a essential part
of jazz music. The second thing is the chord, the is not a normal chord like just major and minor chord
but its also include the diminished chord which I found really interesting for
me as guitarist so it can improve my knowledge in playing guitar and also the
diminished chord sounds really beautiful rather just using a major chord. The third
is that there no rules in jazz music,
the idea that the “rules” of jazz are made to be broken - if you can express
something musical by doing so. Listening to the music of Miles
Davis through his career is probably the best way to hear this - from playing
pretty traditional jazz in the 40s, to bebop through the late 40s and 50s, to
modal jazz in the late 50s, to fusion, etc., his music never stood still, and
in a way, kept “breaking the rules”.
And last is I have my favorite musician which is John Mayer. Here are
some of my top favorite music of john mayer. First is “slow dancing in a burning room” The song brings layers of
intimacy, from its lyrics to its slow-cooked groove, that set it apart even
from his other best songs. Lines like “You'll be a bitch because you can”
are out of character for the singer, making the lyric that much more memorable.
"Slow Dancing" takes a reverse format from many of his other most
famous songs, ending with a series of questions (“Don’t you think we oughta
know by now?”) rather than posing them from the outset. The second music is “You’re gonna live forever in me” The
whistling at the introduction practically hits you over the head with
nostalgia. It brings you to simpler times, and you just know it’s going to be
something wholesome. You can hear and feel Mayer’s raw emotion as he sets up
behind the piano this time, rather than his usual six-string, and as a listener
you can’t help but adopt the same feelings. The last is “Emoji of wave” Mayer’s song title for this track is super
new-school, but the message is as classic as ever. This time, the
singer-songwriter likens hardships in life and relationships to the cyclic
nature of waves: They come and go, and you just have to accept them to get
through it. The strings in the background really elevate the song to a new
level, and the lyric "Your heart is where my head should be, the
dissonance is killing me" is quintessential Mayer.
So
there are the reason and some explanation on why I love music so much and can
make my self a bit better when hearing music.
